A leading global construction contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Manager for a major data center project in Frankfurt. The role involves overseeing all mechanical and electrical aspects of the build, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage subcontractors effectively. We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, and public health elements on a major data centre project in Frankfurt. This is a technically complex and fast-paced build, requiring a strong leader with a deep understanding of mission-critical systems and high-quality delivery.
Working for a global construction contractor, you’ll play a key role in managing subcontractors, interfacing with design teams, and ensuring that all MEP systems are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of Mechanical and Electrical packages across the full project lifecycle
Coordinate with design consultants and BIM teams to ensure buildability and system integration
Lead MEP subcontractor meetings and interface with site and project managers
Monitor progress against programme, identify delays, and implement recovery plans
Oversee quality assurance, inspections, testing and commissioning of MEP systems
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Support commercial teams with variations, valuations, and progress reports
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 10+ years' experience as an MEP Manager or MEP Lead
Proven experience on data centre, high-tech, or industrial projects
Strong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, LV / MV, BMS, HVAC, etc.)
Ability to manage subcontractors and liaise with multiple stakeholders
Fluent English essential; German language skills highly desirable
EU passport or valid German work permit required
