Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Disciplinary leadership, development, and organization of a new master department within the module construction division.
  • Developing measures and implementing them to improve safety in the fiber-reinforced plastics area.
  • Ensuring the timely production of molds for fiber composite components and their manufacturing.
  • Implementing continuous improvement processes across all activities, coordinating with internal, cross-departmental, and external interfaces.
  • Specifying, selecting, and ensuring procurement of all necessary tools.
  • Staff deployment planning and material control within the framework of fine control, managing assigned manufacturing orders.
  • Responsible for shop floor activities, 6S, and Gemba activities (SMART).

Profile:

  • Successfully completed master craftsman training in industry, boatbuilding, shipbuilding, technician, or comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in shipbuilding, boatbuilding, aerospace with fiber composites and advanced composite materials in an international corporation, with proven leadership experience.
  • Strong conceptual skills, communication skills, and a results-oriented approach.
  • A high degree of responsibility and willingness to travel regionally.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for fiber-reinforced plastics, including hand lamination with polyester, vinylester, and epoxy resins, vacuum infusion, and processing pre-pregs.
