Encore at Parkside in Newark, Delaware is seeking a caring Medication Technician for the 3pm-11pm shift to join our dedicated care team in our assisted living community. You will administer prescribed medications, document administration and resident observations, and assist residents with daily living activities, while upholding dignity and respect.

This role requires a high school diploma, LLAM certification, CPR/First Aid and BLS, plus weekend availability; prior senior or long-term care

Qualifikationen

Encore at Parkside is currently hiring a medication technician 3pm-11pm to join our dedicated care team in our assisted living community located in Newark, Delaware. $18-28 hr.

This role is vital to ensuring our residents receive quality care with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administers prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and facility policy
• Accurately document medication administration and resident observations
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, hygiene, and mobility
• Monitor residents for changes in physical or mental health and promptly report concerns
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of resident areas

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an LLAM certification
• Experience in senior care or long-term care - a plus!
• Current CPR/First Aid and BLS certifications (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a heart for elder care
• Must be able to work weekends
