For our offices in Munich (hybrid working model), we are recruiting for a Medical Trainee (f/m/d).

About This Role

The medical trainee program (MTFT) aims to attract qualified young professionals (e.g., MD, MSc, Pharmacists, or PhD in natural or life sciences) from academia, CROs, medical centers, or similar institutions seeking a career in the pharma industry. It is a 24-month program with rotations across various teams within the medical affairs department. The trainee supports projects and assists in daily team activities, such as workshops, process optimization, financial reporting, medical advisory boards, publications, congress reports, and slide decks. The main goal is to gain experience in diverse aspects of Medical Affairs.

What You’ll Do
  • Complete four rotations (6 months each) in different Medical Affairs teams: Medical Operations/Governance/CES, Medical Lifecycle Management/Education/Services, Medical Alzheimer’s Disease (AD), and Medical Rare Diseases (RD).
Medical Operations, Governance, CES
  • Support ongoing projects and workstreams, with details determined at program start based on business needs and trainee strengths.
  • Support material lifecycle management processes and QMS activities.
  • Maintain and improve processes, SOPs, and related documents.
  • Assist in audits, monitoring, and remediation activities.
  • Provide project support for cross-functional medical projects.
  • Share best practices and act as a trusted partner.
Medical LCM / AD / RD
  • Support congress data consolidation and slide deck preparation.
  • Assist in drafting phase IV study protocols and related documents.
  • Help develop poster publications for congresses.
  • Support responses to medical information requests.
  • Potentially support MSL activities, including tandem visits, medical communications, speaker support, and scientific exchanges via various channels.
  • Participate in medical and communication trainings and meetings to deepen product knowledge.
