The Field Solutions Group is seeking a Remote Support Engineer for a Medical Devices Manufacturer. The role offers a hybrid setup with remote work from home 50% of the time and in the Frankfurt office 50% of the time.

You will provide technical support for end-user systems, diagnose complex issues, and contribute to customer satisfaction across a defined territory in Germany. A biomedical or related engineering degree is preferred along with field service experience.

Qualifikationen

• Three years’ work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, biotechnology, electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.
• Previous field service experience would be advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical support for end user systems, including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
• Escalate to Level II specialists as needed and diagnose issues requiring deeper product knowledge.
• Troubleshoot on both mechanical/electrical and application levels.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Engineer for a global leading manufacturer of test and analytical systems for the clinical and pharmaceutical industries. This role will be a hybrid position providing remote support from home 50% of the time and working in the Frankfurt office 50% of the time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end user systems, including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, performing alignments, and resolving technical issues.
• Serve as an escalation point and resource for Level I specialists by diagnosing issues that require deeper technical expertise and broader product knowledge.
• Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understand and troubleshoot on an application level.
• Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area.
• Three years’ work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Bachelor’s degree in either Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology
• Previous field service experience would be advantageous.
