The Media Manager will be responsible for media planning, developing creative briefs, tracking budgets, supporting artwork approval, and managing local media buying agencies for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.
The individual will ensure consistency and high standards in Tiffany communications within the German cluster, coordinate local co-op marketing initiatives, monitor competitor activity, and report to the PR & Communication Director. Working with the market PR & Communications team and the EMEA Communications team, they will translate business objectives into strategic briefs.
We are looking for a highly motivated Media Manager for our Northern Europe Head Office in Munich on a two-year limited contract.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:MEDIA- Manage end-to-end media planning, including briefing, activation, optimization, and performance reporting.
- Translate business objectives into strategic briefs to guide agency efforts.
- Ensure creative content aligns with brand direction and platform requirements.
- Negotiate and achieve YOY efficiencies in media costs.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement- Implement the media roadmap in the market.
- Identify and negotiate first-to-market opportunities with significant business impact.
- Leverage scalable capabilities across markets.
- Improve print positioning and editorial talent synergies annually.
Leadership & Collaboration- Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Coordinate with PR on campaigns and oversee digital collaborations and influencer partnerships.
COMMUNICATIONS- Coordinate store and partner activities with relevant departments.
- Manage brand communication on third-party websites.
- Oversee production of marketing materials with agencies.
- Support new store openings and brand moments.
- Review and edit translations to ensure consistency with Tiffany language standards.
ADMINISTRATION & Reporting- Manage invoices and track budgets with finance teams.
- Create marketing reports and ensure timely updates.
- Summarize marketing activities monthly for management.
- Conduct market research and monitor competition.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum 5+ years in media, agency experience mandatory; a 4-year degree in marketing, media, or communications (Masters preferred).
- Experience with luxury brands.
- Strong digital, social, and emerging tech knowledge.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience managing large media budgets and projects.
- Fluent in German and English.
