Your Responsibilities

• Develop innovative cooling and wiring designs as part of the Hardware Development team.
• Develop, simulate, and evaluate board-level cooling components such as heatsinks, heatpipes, and thermal interface materials to enhance performance of high-power instruments.
• Perform heat transfer simulations for complex electrical components and PCBs.
• Design, simulate, and assess high-density wiring systems capable of handling high currents or voltages.
• Build and test lab prototypes, conducting detailed characterization measurements.
• Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers and supply chain teams for rollout and support.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of electronic and mechanical design and simulation.
• Basic experience with thermal simulation tools.
• Experience with CAD design software, preferably with parametric tools like SolidWorks or Siemens NX.
• Practical experience in heatsink or cable development and manufacturing support.
• Business-fluent German and fluent English communication skills.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for teamwork.
