Mechanical Supervisor

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the correct execution of the erection of mechanical parts and equipment, in accordance with the contractual time schedule, design, and technical requirements. The role involves achieving contractual milestones during the erection phase and coordinating subcontractors.

Tasks

1. Supervise the installation of mechanical parts and equipment.
2. Check the correct alignment and movements of the equipment.
3. Verify that the Erection Company carries out work according to the time schedule, design, and technical requirements.
4. Check the planning of resources of the Erection Company.
5. Interface with engineering departments to resolve issues during execution.
6. Check and sign off erection completion documents.
7. Manage vendors and contractors.
8. Attend meetings with the customer regarding progress.
9. Manage relationships with clients and local authorities as needed.
10. Coordinate with headquarters and subcontractors.
11. Prepare daily reports on activity status.
12. Provide technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to coordinate, manage, and control mechanical/piping erection activities in industrial plants.
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in constructing steel processing plants.
• Knowledge of site erection and commissioning activities for steel plants is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a team and be flexible.
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
• Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations.
