Mechanical Supervisor

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the correct execution of the erection of mechanical parts and equipment, in accordance with the contractual time schedule, design, and technical requirements. The role involves achieving contractual milestones related to the erection phase and coordinating subcontractors.

Tasks

• Supervise the installation of mechanical parts and equipment
• Check the correct alignment and movements of the equipment
• Verify that the Erection Company is carrying out the job according to the time schedule, design, and technical requirements
• Check the planning of resources of the Erection Company
• Interface with engineering departments for resolving issues during execution
• Check and sign off erection completion documents
• Manage vendors and contractors
• Attend meetings with the customer on progress
• Manage relationships with the client and local authorities if required
• Coordinate with headquarters and subcontractors
• Prepare daily reports on activity status
• Provide technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases

Requirements

• Leadership to coordinate, manage, and control mechanical/piping erection activities in industrial plants
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience in steel processing plant construction
• Knowledge of site erection and commissioning activities management, preferred for steel plants
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Ability to work in a team and be flexible
• Willingness to travel worldwide
• Organizational skills, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure
• Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations
