Mechanical Supervisor

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the correct execution of the erection of mechanical parts and equipment, in accordance with the contractual time schedule, design, and technical requirements. The role involves achieving contractual milestones related to the erection phase and coordinating sub-contractors.

Tasks

1. Supervision of the installation of mechanical parts and equipment.
2. Checking the correct alignment and movements of equipment.
3. Verifying that the Erection Company is carrying out the job according to the time schedule, design, and technical requirements.
4. Checking the planning of resources of the Erection Company.
5. Interfacing with engineering departments to resolve any issues during execution.
6. Checking and signing of erection completion documents.
7. Managing vendors and contractors.
8. Attending meetings with the customer on the progress of works.
9. Managing relationships with clients and, if required, with local authorities.
10. Coordination with headquarters and sub-contractors.
11. Preparing daily reports on the status of activities.
12. Providing technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to coordinate, manage, and control mechanical and piping erection activities in industrial plants.
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in constructing steel processing plants.
• Knowledge of site erection and commissioning activities management, preferably for steel plants.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to flexibility.
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
• Organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
• Openness to new approaches and innovations.
