Mechanical Supervisor

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the correct execution of the erection of mechanical parts and equipment, in accordance with the contractual time schedule, design, and technical requirements. The role involves achieving contractual milestones during the erection phase and coordinating subcontractors.

Tasks include:

1. Supervising the installation of mechanical parts and equipment.
2. Checking the correct alignment and movements of the equipment.
3. Verifying that the erection company adheres to the time schedule, design, and technical requirements.
4. Checking planning of resources of the erection company.
5. Interfacing with engineering departments to resolve issues during execution.
6. Checking and signing erection completion documents.
7. Managing vendors and contractors.
8. Attending meetings with the customer regarding progress.
9. Managing relationships with clients and local authorities as needed.
10. Coordinating with headquarters and subcontractors.
11. Preparing daily activity reports.
12. Providing technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases.

Qualifications and skills:

1. Leadership skills to coordinate, manage, and control mechanical and piping erection activities in industrial plants.
2. At least 3-5 years of professional experience in constructing steel processing plants.
3. Knowledge of site erection and commissioning activities, preferably in steel plants.
4. Very good written and spoken English skills.
5. Ability to work in a team and demonstrate flexibility.
6. Willingness to travel worldwide.
7. Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
8. Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations.
