Job summary

JAM is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre in Europe. The role represents the Owner throughout construction, commissioning and handover, with a strong focus on mechanical discipline and critical cooling systems.

Ideal candidates will have client-side oversight experience, ability to manage contractors end-to-end, and a track record delivering complex data centre projects from design coordination through to commissioning

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical/HVAC and critical cooling expertise.
• Client-side Owner’s Representative or mechanical PM experience.
• Experience managing contractors from design through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical packages, contractors and project delivery.
• Monitor programme, quality, technical compliance and delivery risks.
• Coordinate cooling systems: chillers, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, pumps.
• Manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, BMS and commissioning teams.

Mechanical Project Manager – Hyperscale Data Centres

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale hyperscale data centre project in Europe, representing the Owner throughout construction, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical packages, contractors and project delivery.
• Monitor programme, quality, technical compliance and delivery risks.
• Coordinate critical cooling systems, including chillers, chilled water, CRAH/CRAC, pumps and mechanical plant.
• Manage interfaces between mechanical, electrical, BMS and commissioning teams.
• Oversee commissioning readiness, integrated systems testing and operational handover.

Experience required:

• Strong mechanical / HVAC and critical cooling expertise.
• Previous client-side, Owner’s Representative or mechanical project management experience.
• Experience managing contractors from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.

This is a client-side oversight role, focused on technical delivery, contractor accountability and ensuring the facility is ready for operation.
