For our client, a leading global technology company in the semiconductor industry, we are looking for a Mechanical Product Engineer (m/w/d) in Böblingen.

Your tasks:

• Drive our client towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment as part of the SoC Delivery team.
• Support change management for the external supply chain, including mechanical CAD drawing updates.
• Assist the mechanical engineering team on various ongoing projects.
• Drive supply chain requirements into hardware to ensure efficient and predictable manufacturability, utilizing partner capabilities.
• Manage quality, product changes, and technical supply chain processes to meet customer and business requirements.
• Focus on manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives to achieve defined goals.
• Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers, Development, and Supply Chain teams in an international environment.
• Travel up to 10% within Germany and Europe.

Your skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
• Experience in mechanical product development with CAD tools.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and high-level assemblies.
• Proactive, flexible, and innovative mindset with strong analytical problem-solving skills and ownership.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional and cross-company teams in English and German.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry.
