Job Description

Mechanical Package Manager (d/f/m) in Frankfurt, Germany

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Package Manager to join our high-impact data center projects in Frankfurt.

Role Overview:

  • Mechanical Systems Management: Support Mechanical Systems packages buyout and procurement efforts, have the ability to assess scope packages breakouts, review offers received, identify risks to the project during the Preconstruction Phase , and provide Value Engineering solutions. Understand the installation aspect of electrical systems, local compliance, quality expectations, etc. Opportunity to remain involved in the execution of the scope package after the award

  • Design & Technical Oversight : Review design specifications and drawings, manage technical queries, and ensure BIM coordination for accurate installation plans

  • Stakeholder Coordination : Liaise with key project stakeholders, including clients, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors, to facilitate smooth project execution

  • Safety & Quality Assurance : Work with the Project Manager and Safety Advisor to implement and manage site safety plans, quality assurance processes, and compliance with industry standards

  • Project & Schedule Management : Track and manage project schedules, procurement timelines, subcontractor progress, and manpower levels to ensure timely project completion

  • Site Operations & Reporting : Oversee daily site operations, manage work packages, monitor progress, issue weekly reports, and track costs to support efficient project execution


Role Requirements :

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

  • Field Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position within the construction industry. Familiar with site inspections, system testing, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of engineering software (e.g ., AutoCAD ). Strong understanding of HVAC

  • Language: Fluency in German and English

  • Workstyle: Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Proactive, hands-on approach. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
