Your tasks
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of systems, assemblies, and components in the powertrain domain (e-motors, transmissions, drive shafts, battery housings, and high-voltage cables)
- Plan, coordinate, and perform mechanical validation and verification tests (performance, environmental, vibration, durability, sealing tests) within predefined frameworks
- Support design and system FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Document test results and initiate and track corrective and improvement measures
- Prepare technical approvals, coordinate with Quality & Safety, and gather decision proposals
- Coordinate, manage, and technically support external design and simulation partners, and track changes in JIRA
- Present work results and recommendations in cross-functional teams
Your profile
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of professional experience in drivetrain technology within the automotive, commercial vehicle, or related industries
- In-depth knowledge of drivetrains and fastening technology; experience with relevant standards (ISO, SAE, UNECE) is desirable
- Proficient use of PDM systems (Windchill) as well as ticket and change management tools (JIRA)
- Strong communication skills, independent working style, and conceptual thinking
- Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
