Product Engineer Mechanical Infrastructure – Test SC Division (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• As part of the SoC Delivery team you drive Advantest towards operational excellence in an outsourced manufacturing environment.
• Bring new mechanical products of the V93000 IC tester into production on time.
• Actively drive supply chain requirements into hardware to achieve efficient and predictable manufacturability by utilizing the capabilities of our partners.
• Provide special technical advice to peers and management.
• Manage quality, product changes and technical supply chain processes of products to constantly fulfill customer and business requirements.
• Consider manufacturing process optimization, cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives to drive quality, cost, and supply metrics towards defined goals.
• Work closely with our contract manufacturers, Development, Supply Chain and Product marketing teams in a very international environment.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes and high-level mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of mechanical product development with CAD tool support.
• Proactive, flexible and innovative mindset with analytical problem‑solving skills, demonstrating strong ownership.
• Good communication skills and a team‑player in cross‑functional and cross‑company environments, both in English and German.
