Are you excited about solving humanity's energy problems? Are you ready to lead one of the biggest engineering feats in history? We have an opportunity for you to pioneer in unlocking Earth’s most abundant and untapped energy source: ultra-deep geothermal energy.

We believe the solution to the planet’s energy challenges lies beneath us. Geothermal energy is an abundant green energy source, currently limited to specific geological conditions. Our goal is to overcome this by drilling very deep — deeper than ever before — to unlock geothermal energy everywhere on the planet on a massive scale. This is a pure engineering challenge. After months of research, we have developed a playbook to build a transformative deep geothermal energy company. We are now assembling a team and seeking a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join us early and help shape our success story!

Tasks

• Develop and design our drill bit and drilling system — from initial concept to market launch
• Build prototypes and conduct testing and validation
• Collaborate closely with founders and the product team on strategy and technical decisions
• Set up and improve development and manufacturing processes; select and work with external partners and suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in product development, design, or manufacturing engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and manufacturing technologies
• Hands-on mentality: enjoy building, iterating, and finding creative solutions
• Structured, independent work style with a willingness to take ownership
• Willingness to travel occasionally to partners, suppliers, and customer sites
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (remote + on-site collaboration)
• Experience in start-up or dynamic development environments is a plus
