Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, is a leading electrical engineering and manufacturing firm specializing in critical power solutions. We provide innovative engineering solutions to meet technical requirements across various challenges.

We are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) to our team, preferably located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Reporting to the Service Centre Operations Manager, EMEA, the Mechanical Engineer will oversee maintenance and installation works, including managing equipment sent to construction sites.

Typical daily tasks include:

• Mechanical fitting and assembly of switchgear
• Mechanical fitting of equipment within modular pods
• Use of hand tools such as de-burring tools, spanners, screwdrivers, rivet guns
• Understanding appropriate fixings for different tasks
• Safe use of power tools
• Assembly and fitting of doors
• Building plinths and fitting cables and components in underfloor plinths
• Measuring, cutting, and heat-shrinking ducting channels
• Monitoring work progress and reporting project status
• Directing other employees and contractors effectively

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Preferably an electrician with knowledge of LV Switchgear; training provided if not
• Experience through installation, testing, and commissioning of Switchgear
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
• Current UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate
• Manual Handling Awareness Certificate
• Relevant ESC Card
• Availability for on-call duties during evenings and weekends
• Valid EU driving license and ability to travel within EU
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
