With significant investments secured, this data centre group is entering their next phase of growth and are looking to bring on board an Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities:- The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with thePre-Development, Development, Engineering and Construction teams to support the development of data centres in Europe.
- The successful individual will be responsible for contributing to Europe-wide development and influencing the data centres.
- The role will capture the full development cycle frompre-development liaison with stakeholders, including planning authorities and utility companies, working closely with all areas of the Development and Construction teams.
- Support in contract review, negotiation, and execution,utilizingknowledge of varying Design and Construction contract forms.
- Be part of a team developing data centres across Europe in multiple new locations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in mechanical or building services engineering and project management
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such asAutoCAD,Revit, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
- Solid understanding of energy efficiency best practices and sustainability principles as they relate to data centre infrastructure.
- Proficiency with MS Project.
- Critical thinker and problem solver.
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree, mechanical or building services engineering, or technology-related discipline isadvantageous.
