Role

We’re looking for a Freelance Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of our labelling and marking machinery. Working on-site near Stuttgart, you’ll create mechanical designs using Siemens NX or Solid Edge, collaborating with our engineering team to deliver robust, efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical components and assemblies.
• Produce 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with electrical/automation teams for integration.
• Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Strong experience in machinery or industrial equipment design.
• Proficient in Siemens NX or Solid Edge.
• Knowledge of mechanical design principles, tolerances, and materials.
• Hands-on, problem-solving approach.
• Fluent in English (German a plus).
• Available full-time, on-site near Stuttgart.

Contract

• Freelance / Contract – initially 6–12 months, extendable.
