Your prospective job:

For our customer in the aerospace industry, you will work as a Mechanical Designer (m/f/d) at the location Finkenwerder.

Your responsibilities:

• Elaborate design concepts in co-engineering mode with interfacing engineering and manufacturing teams
• Produce and validate 3D CAD definitions and manufacturing drawings, manage the engineering bill-of-material
• Perform simple calculations (preliminary sizing) and geometric analyses (e.g., stack-up) to mature the design
• Support production teams, assess production non-conformities, and implement design changes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and methods, focusing on agile development

Your profile:

• Completed studies in aerospace or comparable field
• Several years of work experience in construction and aerospace
• Familiar with relevant manufacturing processes (especially machining, welding, and ALM)
• Experience in geometric product specifications (ISO GPS) and drawing
• Knowledge of MS-Office and Catia V5
• Knowledge of PLM (Siemens TeamCenter, SAP) and collaborative tools (Confluence, JIRA)
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
