• 3+ Jahre Erfahrung im mechanischen Design und Expertise in ADAS-Komponentendesign.

Job Description:

1. Designing robust module mounts that support repeatable and accurate performance of exterior/interior ADAS sensors.
2. Contributing with strong knowledge in designing kinematic mechanisms and shock and vibration stabilization structures.
3. Designing and executing comprehensive tolerance stack-up analyses at both component and system levels to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturing feasibility of ADAS sensor assemblies.
4. Leading optical performance simulations using SPEOS software to validate ADAS sensor system performance across various environmental and operating conditions.
5. Driving and overseeing thermal and structural simulations & validation at the module level to ensure robust mechanical design and optimal sensor performance under diverse operating conditions.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional groups, including exterior surface design, interior cabin design, design studio, structural simulation group, ADAS group, and module suppliers, to optimize packaging space and fulfill both manufacturing serviceability requirements.
7. Working with Tier 1 suppliers and understanding mechanical system implementation.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Science (Master's preferred) in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
2. Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly CATIA.
3. 3+ years of experience in mechanical design.
4. Expertise in ASME GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and detailed 2D drawings.
5. Plastic and injection molding experience.
6. Utilizing CAE tools, such as ANSYS.
7. Understanding thermal, shock, and vibration testing.
8. Familiarity with rapid prototyping techniques.
9. Expertise in ADAS mechanical component design.
10. Track record of creative mechanical design that fits within tight spaces.
11. Knowledge of vehicle build processes and electrical harnessing.
