Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Contract Length: 3 Months

About the Role:

Join a high-performing aerospace team developing next-generation aircraft technologies. This role focuses on the design, analysis, and development of landing gear systems, supporting both new platform development and upgrades. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams, including stress, hydraulics, and manufacturing, to deliver fully integrated and certifiable solutions.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for landing gear systems.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 or Siemens NX for 3D modeling and 2D drawing.
• Strong understanding of aerospace standards, including DO-160, CS-25, or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of actuation systems and hydraulic integration.
• Experience with compliance documentation and certification support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop landing gear components and sub-systems, from concept through to release.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-ups, and apply GD&T for high-precision assemblies.
• Interface with analysis, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and performance.
• Support qualification and certification processes, including technical documentation and test planning.
• Evaluate supplier designs and ensure conformance with project and airworthiness requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design methods, tools, and product quality.
