Job Description

Since 1996, RQ Construction, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We have a national and international presence spanning coast to coast, including U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Puerto Rico. We offer project management throughout the United States, with our field operations team members working on location for each project. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction, primarily focusing on the Department of Defense market.

Position: Mechanical Assistant Project Manager (MAPM)

Located in King's Bay, GA, our Mechanical APMs support the Mechanical Project Manager in managing all aspects of mechanical construction projects from conceptual development to final completion. Responsibilities include organizing, planning, directing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and personnel management to ensure safe, quality work within project requirements, budget, and schedule, aligning with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Local candidates are preferred, but relocation will be considered.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Match

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Courses in project management, construction management, mechanical trades, BIM, CADD, etc.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer supporting projects of at least $5 million (commercial/government)
• Mechanical systems field or trade work experience highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred
• Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6; training available
• Specific software literacy in BIM; training available
