On behalf of our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, we are looking for a Mechanic in Production Planning at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site – fixed-term for one year with the option of extension. The gross annual salary ranges, depending on qualifications, between €64,000 and a maximum of €67,500.Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Job description

Tasks

• Coordination of all parties involved in production - from suppliers to customers
• Creation of realistic production plans in close coordination with all interfaces
• Analysis and monitoring of MRP data (Material Requirements Planning), release and completion of work orders
• Derivation of recommendations for action for production management
• KPI tracking for production performance and implementation of improvement measures
• Active order tracking with a high level of communication within production
  

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as industrial mechanic, machine fitter, or metalworking profession – at least at master level
  or completed technical studies (minimum Bachelor's degree)
• Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production, production planning / control and supplier management
• Experience in the aerospace industry
• Initial knowledge of SAP and experience with Google Workspace
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least B1)
• Willingness to work late shifts every 4–6 weeks
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
