As part of our high-performing Workshop Team, you will be responsible for identifying and repairing any faults or damage to machinery, vehicles, and tools, accurately updating service records, and at times, you may be required to complete repairs on our customer sites.
Main Duties:
- Help with general service, weekly checks, and fault diagnostics for our vehicle fleet machinery range
- Carry out emergency servicing and repair of vehicles (both onsite and on emergency call-outs) as directed
- Undertake inspections of company vehicles in preparation for MOT
- Maintain comprehensive records, both electronically and in hard copy, for each vehicle/machinery item to demonstrate routine servicing, statutory inspection, and breakdown repairs
- Undertake correct and regular maintenance and calibration of all equipment in accordance with brand instructions and guidelines
- Diagnose, inspect, and assess vehicles and associated mechanical equipment based on skills and competency
- Assist with the development and upkeep of the team’s digital logging processes to track workload, stock, and vehicle/machinery health
- Maintain all company tools and equipment provided
- Liaise with customers as required
- Comply with all company policies, rules, and statutory regulations
- Ensure all equipment is stored safely in a clean and tidy manner at the end of each day
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations to ensure safe working conditions and the welfare of your team and customers
Desired Attributes:
- Proven experience as a mechanic/fitter with relevant mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Customer-focused approach and a committed team player
- Valid driving license and ability to travel independently
