Job Description

HPC MCU Business Development Broader market and distribution – As part of the business development team for broader market and distribution, the successful candidate will be able to cooperate with Regional Sales/FAEs and their distributors to expand 32-bit MCU businesses, identify new potential markets, and create winning strategies for targeted markets/customers.

She/he is required to work closely with 32-bit MCU Product and Ecosystem Marketing colleagues to understand the latest 32-bit MCU portfolio as well as marketing collaterals available for targeted markets. The candidate should be able to adjust marketing materials, present them to Regional Sales, FAEs, distributors, and sometimes customers, and answer routine questions about MCUs from both technical and business perspectives. Additionally, the candidate will identify gaps and future needs regarding products, marketing materials, and strategies in the assigned markets to optimize company growth.

Job Duties
  1. Promote marketing strategies, roadmaps, and marketing collateral (promotional and training) of 32-bit microcontroller products to regional sales/FAE/distribution teams.
  2. Take ownership of engagements with regional sales/FAE/distribution teams to increase design-ins, improve demand creation, explore new markets, and maximize market share.
  3. Ensure proper customer/project support by Regional and distribution FAEs and help prioritize support activities of product line applications engineers when necessary.
  4. Report on market trends, competition analysis, and benchmarking to position our solutions effectively or create new solutions in the assigned markets.
  5. Communicate effectively with management to report critical technical or business issues.
Your Profile
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ or 3+ years of industry experience in microcontrollers or related applications engineering, respectively.
  • Strong marketing and analytical skills, complemented by strategic thinking.
  • Experience with automotive customers and applications is preferred.
  • Self-driven and motivated, capable of taking full ownership of activities and involving other functions in the company or management when needed to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to diverse audiences, including executive teams. Capable of communicating technical issues concisely and effectively.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
