- Proven teaching experience in Mathematics, ideally in secondary or pre-university education
- Experience working with international student groups
- Excellent proficiency in English, with the ability to teach high school-level mathematics clearly and effectively
- Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (preferably Master of Education in Mathematics)

Your Responsibilities
About the Role
The University of Europe for Applied Sciences is seeking an experienced and motivated Mathematics Instructor to teach in the Studienkolleg Foundation Program at our Iserlohn campus. The Studienkolleg prepares international students for entry into German universities by providing them with the academic foundation needed for undergraduate studies in Economics or related disciplines.
This role requires strong teaching skills, intercultural competence, and the ability to explain high school mathematics in English to international learners.
Key Responsibilities
- · Teach Mathematics courses aligned with Studienkolleg standards and subject-specific entrance requirements
- · Cover essential topics such as:
- Functions
- Systems of equations
- Matrices
- Logic
- Probability
- · Foster mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills relevant for academic success in university programs
- · Prepare students for the FSP exam and internal university admission assessments
- · Design and conduct formative assessments and a final exam
- · Track student attendance and academic performance
- · Collaborate closely with the Studienkolleg program management team
Position Details- Workload: 6 SWS (Semesterwochenstunden – 6 teaching hours per week)
Teaching Format:- Fully in-person on campus in Iserlohn
