Responsibilities:

• Development, qualification, and approval of new materials, material compounds, and molded parts made from them.
• Documentation and presentation of the results internally and externally through reports, publications, and presentations.
• Supervision of in-house elastomer production regarding material issues, process technology, and process development.
• Clarification of damage causes through material and component testing, and initiating remedial measures.
• Providing technical application advice on elastomer and polymer molded parts.
• Supporting production and purchasing by preparing work and process instructions, technical delivery conditions, and approval processes.
• Maintaining contact with manufacturers, compounders, plant constructors, and relevant committees (DKG).
• Planning, designing, and commissioning new testing procedures, test benches, and measuring equipment.

Qualifications:

• Completed studies in materials science, plastics technology, chemistry, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of elastomers and polymers.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, analytics, and measurement technology.
• Professional experience is desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• English B1 or higher.
• Teamwork, commitment, and resilience.
• Ability to work under pressure, quick comprehension, and goal-oriented work style.
• Hands-on mentality and long-term orientation.
