Qualifikationen

Your role:

We offer the opportunity for a master thesis in the field of viral gene therapy. By joining our Liquid Formulation R&D as part of the Life Science sector, you will be part of a cross-disciplinary team addressing a broad range of biomolecules (e.g. proteins, nucleic acids, viruses).

With your thesis embedded in an ongoing research project focusing on viral vector formulation, you will contribute to the improved development of next-generation therapies.

Besides performing experiments using state-of-the art analytical methods, you will interpret the data and design your studies in close collaboration with experts in the field and using latest literature.

Who you are:

  • Currently enrolled as master student of Life Sciences. Preferably with a focus on virology, molecular biology, biotechnology and/or biochemistry.
  • Experience in handling viral vectors, especially AAVs, and aseptic work.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.
  • Self-motivated and eager, striving to acquire new skills and able to work independently.
  • Creativity, curiosity and an open mindset
  • Fluency in English and conversational German desirable

Duration:6 months, starting in August
