Bosch Sensortec GmbH invites applications for a Master Thesis focused on System Identification and Calibration of next-generation MEMS gyroscopes. The project spans 6 months, full-time, with on-site work and collaboration in an international, interdisciplinary environment.
Education requirements include a Master in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, Embedded Systems or Microsystems Technology. Strong knowledge in control theory, signal processing, and MEMS is highly valued.
Bosch Sensortec GmbH develops and markets key technologies in consumer electronics – micro-electro-mechanical sensors (MEMS), solutions and systems for smartphone applications, tablets, video game consoles, wearables, and the Internet of things. The sensors enable devices to recognize their surroundings and to transmit the data collected. MEMS are therefore part of the foundation for a networked world. Bosch Sensortec GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH.
The Bosch Sensortec GmbH is looking forward to your application!
High-performance MEMS gyroscopes are essential for modern applications ranging from consumer electronics to robotics. While initial calibration handles manufacturing tolerances, environmental factors such as temperature changes, mechanical stress and ageing can cause performance drift over time. To maintain long‑term accuracy, this project focuses on developing, as well as validating efficient, non‑intrusive system identification methods.
Diversity and inclusion are not just trends for us but are firmly anchored in our corporate culture. Therefore, we welcome all applications, regardless of gender, age, disability, religion, ethnic origin or sexual identity.
