Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany invites motivated students to join an internship in MEMS sensor development. You will gain in-depth insight into acceleration sensor development and work on silicon-based MEMS and ASIC-related measurement technology.
You will plan and run experiments, run simulations, analyze data, automate measurements, and present results to the development team. Fluent English is required; German language skills are a plus.
At Bosch, we shape the future by inventing high-quality technologies and services that spark enthusiasm and enrich people’s lives. Our promise to our associates is rock-solid: we grow together, we enjoy our work, and we inspire each other. Join in and feel the difference.
The Robert Bosch GmbH is looking forward to your application!
During this internship, you will gain an in-depth insight into the development of acceleration sensors, which are silicon-based micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS). You will be actively involved in developing our newest sensor generation, regularly tackling project-related tasks.
As part of this assignment you will build experience in sensors, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC) as well as in the corresponding measurement technology including the introduction to the current state of the art.
You will have the opportunity to actively participate in planning and implementing experiments, conducting simulations, analyzing big data, and applying machine learning. This will include automating measurements and measurement technology.
Finally, you will be responsible for presenting your experimental results and evaluations concerning the performance of prototypes or high-volume types to the development team.
studies in a technical or scientific field, preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechatronical Engineering, Physics, Microsystem Engineering, Computer Science or comparable
in programming and simulation (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C); hands-on experience in laboratory measurements, data analysis and evaluation; familiarity with advanced measurement technology
driver licence class B (valid in Germany, optional)
you work committed and goal-oriented, in a structured and independent way, while thriving as a team player
interested in MEMS based sensors and new technologies as well as experimental work in a team
fluent in English, German is a plus
