Job Description

  • Shape the future: You will improve and finalize an experimental setup for the reliability testing of RRAM (Resistive Random Access Memory), contributing to advancements in non-volatile memory technologies
  • Take responsibility: You will define and execute measurement plans, ensuring accurate data collection from analog-sensing circuits and microcontroller-based systems
  • Data is everything: You will analyze the electrical behavior of RRAM devices using statistical methods to extract key reliability indicators
  • Experience research: You will develop a Python-based simulation framework to model RRAM behavior using concepts from solid-state physics and stochastic processes
Your Profile

  • Study field: You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or similar
  • Experience: You have experience with microcontroller programming for circuit control and are familiar with experimental setups for electronic device testing
  • Skills: You have solid knowledge in analog-sensing circuitry and a strong understanding of RRAM device physics, including electrical conduction, kinetics and solid-state phenomena. You are proficient in Python for modeling, simulation and statistical data analysis
  • Way of working: You work in a structured, analytical and independent manner. You are proactive, detail-oriented and enjoy applying theoretical knowledge in hands-on technical environments
  • Language skills: You have fluent English skills; German language skills would be a plus

Important information:

Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.

You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
