The privacy team of the Cyber Security and Privacy Lab in Huawei Munich Research Center is developing cutting-edge privacy-enhancing technologies designed to support privacy and data protection. To support our research activities, we are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Master students to research the topic of Privacy Enhancing Technologies to help develop privacy solutions for future data analytics and artificial intelligence systems.

Your mission

• Analyze privacy risks of target application scenarios
• Support the team to research and develop privacy solutions in the context of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI Agents
• Document and present results

Your areas of expertise

• Enrolled in a master's program in computer science, cybersecurity, privacy, mathematics, or related fields
• Research experience in LLMs, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence is a plus
• Passion and ability to find solutions for complex technological issues
• Good programming skills in Python or C++, other languages are a plus
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Note: Enrollment in a master's program at any university is required for this position.
