In order to support Airbus Defence and Space, we are looking for a Master thesis candidate in the field of SmallSat Ground Security Software (MMI and Safety Store).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Familiarization with CCSDS/ECSS PUS Operations
• Understanding existing security protocols
• Implementing safety and backup mechanisms for the security software
• Developing simple GUI/mimics for ground security software
• Demonstrating the safety store and managing security settings for satellite reconnection

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Enrolled student in aerospace engineering, informatics, computer science, or space engineering
• Strong knowledge of Java and experience with Java GUI libraries
• Familiarity with documentation tools like Word and Google Docs
• Ability to produce technical documentation
• Good teamwork skills
