Job Description
  • During your assignment, you will developa fully automated end-to-end Home Energy Management System test environment, including Bosch Air Water Heat Pump, Direct Current sources and Photovoltaic Inverters.
  • You will analyze existing manual workflows, data acquisition methods and various tools and protocols in use.
  • Besides, you will develop automation scripts (primarily Python) for device configuration, test execution, data capture, and evaluation.
  • You will integrate diverse tools to create a seamless automation pipeline.
  • Furthermore, you will design and implement the solutions for data management (e.g., SQLite) and real-time visualization.
  • You will troubleshoot and optimize the automation framework.
  • Last but not least, you will document your work for knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Automation Engineering, Energy Technology or comparablewith good grades
  • Experience and Knowledge: strong programming skills in Python; solid analytical abilities and a basic understanding of software development principles and testing; familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN) is a plus
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are a motivated, communicative, and responsible team player
  • Enthusiasm: for renewable energies
  • Languages: very good in English
