SEG Automotive GmbH is developing highly performant inverters for the control of electric drives in different customer applications. The optimization and fine-tuning of the gate driver-power module subsystem play a crucial role in ensuring functionality, stability, and robustness under all operational conditions, including the save state operation. This requires a suitable testing and control approach to create a valuable test database.

  • Concept definition, including tester, software, hardware peripheries, connectivity concept
  • Development of schematics and layout
  • Hardware and software integration based on existing Arduino software board bring-up
  • Create data for the characterization of the power module switching for selected gate driver settings
  • Documentation and analysis
  • Completed bachelor's degree in electronics, fulfilling the prerequisites for starting a master thesis
