SEG Automotive GmbH is developing highly performant inverters for the control of electric drives in different customer applications. The optimization and fine-tuning of the gate driver-power module subsystem play a crucial role in ensuring functionality stability and robustness under all operational conditions including the save state operation. This requires a suitable testing and control approach to create a valuable test database.

  • Concept definition, incl. tester, SW, HW peripheries, connectivity concept
  • Development of schematics and layout
  • HW and SW integration based on existing Arduino-SW board bring-up
  • Create data for the characterization of the power module switching for selected gate driver settings
  • Documentation and analysis
  • Completed bachelor's degree in electronics, fulfilling the premises for the start of a master thesis
  • Experience in practical work on electronic systems (e.g. soldering, testing, analysis)
  • Programming experience
  • Curiosity for the behavior and optimization of electronic hardware / software systems
