Job Description
  • During your assignment, you will implement, integrate and evaluate cutting-edge algorithms along the complete stack of an Automated Driving System with focus on perception or function and planning modules.
  • Technological focus will be on Machine Learning (End2End systems, Foundation Models, such as VLM and VLA).
  • Your algorithms will run in real time on a prototype test vehicle.
  • In addition, you will realize a system-driven evaluation in a system-in-the-loop simulation and on defined reference tracks.
  • Last but not least, you will work in an agile and diverse research team.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master studies in the field of Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or comparable with excellent grades.
  • Experience and Knowledge: excellent programming skills (Python, C++); knowledge of ROS and Machine Learning libs is a strong plus.
  • Personality and Working Practice: you are a highly motivated, flexible team player.
  • Languages: fluent in English and ideally good in German.
Additional Information

Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 3 - 6 months.

Optionally, we can support an internship preceding the offered thesis. This option would allow you to gather a still broader understanding in the field of automated driving.

Requirement for this thesis is the enrollment at university. Please attach your CV, transcript of records, examination regulations and if indicated a valid work and residence permit.
