Job Description

This position is suitable for specializations such as: Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechatronics, Medical Engineering, Physics, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar fields.

The project focuses on developing a digital twin for endovascular therapy used in stroke and cardiovascular disease treatments. The goal is to enhance the accuracy of the digital twin by integrating additional information to improve safety and efficiency during interventions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct extensive literature research and develop concepts
  • Implement the developed process
  • Set up and perform tests and validation trials in a test rig or simulation
  • Document results in a final thesis and presentation
Qualifications
  • Solid knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and control engineering
  • Proficiency in programming, ideally in Python
  • Independent, thorough, and systematic working style
  • Interest in applied research and interdisciplinary work
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent
  • Fluent in German or English, basic German skills preferred
