Tasks

Functional mapping in the simulation environment for evaluating the rotor position sensor influences within the torque-generating system (DBS).

Research tasks include:

  1. Literature research (technology research/market analysis) of the rotor bearing sensor (RLGs).
  2. Simulative setup of the sensor technology.
  3. Setup of the RLG model in the FEM tool (e.g., Flux, Jmag).
  4. RLG signal mapping and/or evaluation down to the speed signal.
  5. Validation of the RLG behavior depending on typical fault patterns based on experimental measurements.
  6. Parameterization of the mapped model for further variance (depending on geometric dimensions, number of pole pairs of the EM, and sensor winding pattern).
  7. Summarization of the results and possible derivation of optimization potential.
