DESCRIPTION

Amazon's store serves over 300 million customers worldwide, offering products from third-party sellers alongside Amazon's own. Since 2000, Amazon has provided a platform for individuals and companies of all sizes to reach a global customer base, build brands, and grow their business. Currently, third-party seller products account for more than half of all units sold. As Amazon expands into new countries, the environment becomes more dynamic and fast-paced.

The Strategic Account Services Team aims to maximize the potential of each Amazon Selling Partner by providing strategic consultancy through a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach. Our services cover all aspects of the Amazon Marketplace, including International expansion, Portfolio Optimization, Fulfillment Strategy, Product Presentation, Promotions, Advertising Strategy, and Brand Building. We also assist Selling Partners in solving operational challenges.

As a Marketplace Consultant, you will independently manage your own portfolio of Selling Partners, supporting their business growth and satisfaction by developing tailored roadmaps and proactively identifying untapped potential. You will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new Selling Partners and launching this program in your country, which involves managing ambiguity and coordinating across teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Selling Partner Management: Manage a portfolio of 10-12 Selling Partners, developing strategies, managing timelines, expectations, and communications.
  2. Business Analysis: Produce insights and recommendations using analytical tools to interpret customer data.
  3. Consultancy: Leverage Amazon solutions to meet Selling Partners' objectives and advise on opportunities and business impact.
  4. Operational Support: Guide the execution of strategic plans, answer questions, and help overcome operational challenges.
  5. Relationship Building: Build trust and maintain strong relationships with Selling Partners and stakeholders.
  6. Training: Educate Selling Partners about Amazon's solutions and news.
  7. Recruitment: Identify and engage prospective Selling Partners based on their needs.
  8. Business Reviews: Prepare and present performance reviews and strategic discussions.
  9. Subject Matter Expertise: Own a specific area within the organization to support peers and develop processes/tools.
  10. Local Adaptation: Develop local requirements to tailor processes for Selling Partners in your country.
