About the job

Allego is looking for a Business Developer to lead strategic marketing efforts while supporting business development initiatives. This role focuses on driving external marketing campaigns and maximizing the utilization of our existing EV charger network. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of marketing campaigns and business development strategies, all while contributing to the growth of sustainable transportation across the Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) region with a focus on Germany. You’ll be focusing on customer segmentation, pricing strategy, loyalty programs and partnerships with local brands to increase sales and the utilization rate of our chargers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Developer you have a strong focus on marketing, and youwill play a pivotal role in our team, focusing on driving engagement, increasing brand visibility, and fostering relationships through various initiatives. Your expertise and innovative mindset will help us reach new heights. As a result, you will:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of marketing campaigns to enhance Allego Charging’s brand visibility and engagement across Germany, Austria and Switzerland

  • Design and implement utilization strategies to maximize the performance and adoption of Allego’s existing EV charger network

  • Organize and execute external marketing activities, such as campaigns, and stakeholder engagements, to strengthen Allego’s market presence

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to refine marketing strategies at user’s level and competitor’s level

  • Create high-quality marketing content and collateral to support both external and internal communication

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of objectives


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in marketing and track record in managing social media platforms and developing engaging content

  • Analytical and data-driven approach to optimize campaigns and utilization strategies

  • Good team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to interact effectively at various organizational levels.

  • Strong project management skills, capable of coordinating external partners

  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a focus on delivering creative solutions and achieving results

  • Knowledge of the EV charging or energy sector is desirable

  • Experience in driving the utilization of physical assets, such as networks or infrastructure, is a plus

  • Role is based in Berlin, remote work is partially possible.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proficiency with marketing tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.

  • Fluency in German and English
