Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover, Content & App Partner Engagement

DESCRIPTION

The Content, Apps and Partner Engagement team is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition, engagement, and monetisation efforts for entertainment content on Fire TV and Fire tablets. The team focuses on expanding selection, enhancing customer engagement, and monetising third-party apps and video content on Fire devices. We collaborate with top video and entertainment partners offering direct-to-consumer streaming services to provide Amazon customers with a broad range of TV shows, movies, music, and more. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence a rapidly growing content category on Amazon's best-selling devices.

As a Marketing Manager - Owned and Operated, you will develop and implement marketing strategies to increase app downloads, customer engagement, and revenue through entertainment content and subscriptions. You will analyze industry trends and internal data to identify growth opportunities, overseeing the fastest-growing digital apps and games revenue category. You will coordinate integrated marketing campaigns with internal and external partners and collaborate with the device marketing team to promote Fire devices to new audiences.

This is a 22-month fixed-term contract based in our Berlin office.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Manage daily calendar planning for on-device content placements and email communications to maximize visibility and performance.
  2. Lead end-to-end email marketing efforts, including content planning, audience segmentation, and performance analysis.
  3. Maintain operational expertise within the team, ensuring best practices and process improvements for campaign execution.
  4. Design, implement, and analyze multi-channel marketing campaigns, focusing on targeting and performance metrics.
  5. Create and localize marketing collateral and advertising creatives for digital channels.
  6. Establish, implement, and measure initiatives to drive content downloads, usage, and in-app purchases.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Proven success in executing marketing programs across multiple channels is essential.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience in non-internship marketing roles.
  • Ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and improvements.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Experience developing, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing campaigns from conception to completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience leveraging customer research, data, and metrics to forecast and evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with tools like Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce for targeting, segmentation, and reporting in demand generation.
