For our Medical Device Services Business Line we are looking for aMarketing Manager (m/f/d)based inVimodrone, Milan (Italy), or Munich (Germany), or Barcelona (Spain).

Job Description

TheMarketing Manager will be part of the European marketing team, driving business performance and building brand exposure of the Medical Device Services business unit.

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Strategic Marketing

• Defineand implement the overaching marketing strategy.
• Support the integration and marketing alignment of newly acquired companies.
• Conduct and manage market intelligence activities to support data-driven decisions.

External Communication

Digital Marketing (Focus: Lead Generation)

• Manage and optimize both global and local websites, includingContent management,SEO / SEA strategies,Web analytics and performance reporting.
• Drive the LinkedIn strategy by leading editorial planning, managing paid campaigns, scheduling and publishing content, and coordinating the creation of visuals and videos with the creative team.
• Monitor marketing campaign progress and analyze results to improve performance and ROI.

Non-digital Marketing

• Strengthen brand awareness and generate leads through:
  • Organizing and promoting free webinars, managing registrations and follow-ups
  • Coordinating external training programs
  • Launching other lead-generating initiatives
• Manage the MDS European newsletter.
• Plan and execute email campaigns (CRM relaunch planned for 2025), ensuring GDPR compliance.

Support to Sales teams

With the marketing team:

• Manage the creation and update content on multiple platforms, including clients’ presentations & flyers
• Organize Eurofins MDS customer events (e.g. workshops).
• Ensure the organisation of external events/ participation to congresses.

Project management

• Lead the planning, preparation, and marketing of new service launches.

People Management

• 1 Marketing Specialist (based in Germany)
• 2 Junior Marketing Specialists (based in Italy)

Coordination

• With the EU MDS management (General manager, Marketing director, Director of Consulting, Director of Testing, Sales director).
• With the US marketing team.
• With the Corporate marketing/ communication/ website teams.
• With newly acquired companies.
• Other interactions with sales teams, European experts, consultants, external agencies.

Qualifications

Hard skills

• At least 10 years experience
• Scientific/ technical background (ideally in Healthcare) + Commercial experience in BtoB + Marketing experience in BtoB
• Regulatory knowledge is a plus.
• International experience is a plus.

Soft skills

• Result driven mindset.
• Fast learner, especially with complex, scientific topics.
• Strong organisation skills (multiple teams, countries, projects, planned actions & ad hoc/ urgent needs).
• Positive and a can-do attitude with a sense of urgency and flexibility.
• Ability to create a plan/ milestones, and monitor budget and teams’ achievements.
• Being a driven force and initiate new services.
• Able to drive projects from A to Z.
• Being open-minded to incorporate new trends and ideas to marketing.
• Strong team player working with various teams (people of varied cultures and backgrounds).
• Ability to manage a team remotely.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Fluent in English.
