This position involves implementing and executing marketing programs for the Region, focusing on the adoption and growth of da Vinci surgical procedures, particularly in Gynecology and Urology. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with regional sales, training teams, and the European marketing group.

The primary responsibilities include:

  1. Understanding market dynamics such as open/MIS rates, national outcomes, surgeon/patient/hospital segments, reimbursement levels, surgical techniques, and KOLs.
  2. Aligning on target procedures/products and maintaining focus on commercial strategy.
  3. Building value propositions, stories, tools, and engaging 3Ps (Physician, Patient, Provider) sequentially.
  4. Developing KOLs with strong technical outcomes and advanced technology use.
  5. Quantifying clinical, economic, and strategic impacts of key surgeons/hospitals.
  6. Collaborating with surgical and societal bodies to support da Vinci surgery.

Roles and responsibilities:

Market Understanding

  • Develop and execute regional marketing tactics focused on Gynecology & Urology, with detailed activities aligned with timelines and budgets, in collaboration with the European team and local sales leadership.
  • Partner with clinical and capital sales teams for analysis, targeting, and action planning.
  • Work with Market Access and Clinical Affairs to develop publication strategies supporting procedure adoption.
  • Support the training department in regional sales development and deliver content for meetings.
  • Serve as a Medical Device Consultant (Medizinprodukteberater) in Austria and Germany after training, providing guidance on device handling.

Building Value Props and Engaging 3Ps

  • Deliver marketing and sales tools to meet short and long-term goals, developing KOLs and leading clinical education programs to promote da Vinci surgery.

Quantifying Impact

  • Collaborate with Market Access to develop cost-effectiveness strategies, analyze competitive data, and validate clinical/economic data with reference centers and KOLs.

Society Engagement

  • Represent Intuitive at key conferences, collaborate on robotic training pathways, and implement promotional activities.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of clinical/product marketing experience in medical devices, preferably in Gynecology & Urology.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and anatomy.
  • Experience in surgical or OR sales preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop educational and marketing programs.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, project management, and MS Office skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% internationally.
