Overview

A global distributor for games and toys is looking for a brand manager to oversee all marketing activities for one of the most recognisable names in the games industry. The brand is celebrating its 30th anniversary next year and big things are planned as a result. This organisation also has the license agreements for some of the largest and most prominent names in the market. It is a multi-billion-dollar organisation distributing product to over 80 countries, with offices in Hong Kong, China, London, France and Germany. Due to exponential year-on-year growth, all offices are growing the teams across all functions.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all marketing activities across the DACH and Benelux regions, working collaboratively in a team of five.
  • Television marketing campaigns
  • Social media and digital campaigns
  • In store marketing including FSDU’s, in-store activations, events and window displays
  • Manage the relationships with the various retail partnerships in place
  • Manage the relationship with the marketing agency that does most of the digital marketing campaigns
Qualifications

You’ll have gained experience working as a brand manager in the retail space, ideally within the toys and games industry, otherwise a passion for the product is essential for this iconic games and toys brand. You’ll have a deep understanding for in-store marketing, brand activations, and how to get the most out of bespoke, in-store events. You’ll also know how to maximise the relationships with the retailers you work with. You’ll be highly organised and can juggle multiple priorities at any one time. You’ll have solid communication skills, be proactive and willing to get stuck in whenever needed.
