The Position

As Customer Marketing Manager, you will lead and execute the go-to-market strategy for specific product portfolios and market segments. This role focuses on:

  • Driving revenue growth
  • Expanding gross margin
  • Enhancing customer engagement

You’ll do this through demand generation, strategic marketing programs, and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

This role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA – First Responder & Milipol and involves working closely with Product Line Managers, Software Developers, Pricing, OPEX, Sales, MarCom, and Channel Partners.

Responsibilities

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute demand creation programs, training initiatives, and new product launches.
  • Own go-to-market strategies for assigned geographies and product lines.
  • Partner with Sales and Channel teams to drive growth through customer-facing activities and strong technical support.
  • Track success via KPIs and adjust tactics where needed.

Revenue Growth & Demand Generation

  • Design and implement strategies to increase revenue through innovative marketing programs.
  • Build targeted demand generation initiatives tailored to regions, segments, and customer personas (e.g., firefighters).
  • Support and train channel partners to expand reach and effectiveness.
  • Manage pricing processes and approvals.

Market Intelligence & Strategy Development

  • Conduct market research to track competitor activity, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Analyse market size, growth rates, and share to inform strategy.
  • Share insights with cross-functional teams to support planning and execution.

Content Development & Communications

  • Collaborate with MarCom, PR, and Creative teams to produce impactful sales tools and promotional content.
  • Manage digital and offline marketing campaigns, trade shows, and thought-leadership initiatives.
  • Own and maintain product and market web content across core languages.

Sales & Internal Enablement

  • Train and enable Sales, Inside Sales, and Customer Service teams on product knowledge and go-to-market processes.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with Product, Software, Supply Chain, and After-Sales teams.
  • Support channel enablement and skills development initiatives.
Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in B2B Marketing or Sales.
  • Strong background in product portfolio management.
  • Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to understand complex, technical product lines.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and across geographies.
  • Strong presentation, customer engagement, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-focused with proven execution discipline.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe (UK, France, Germany).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in marketing, product management, or business development.
