About this role

As the Marketing Lead for Brand & Campaigns in Germany (based in Berlin), you’ll work hand in hand with the Head of Brand & Campaigns and the Amsterdam based Marketing team to drive the local brand strategy and high-impact marketing campaigns that strengthen brand health and fuel business growth. You’ll manage a team of Senior Marketing Managers, collaborate with renowned German creative agencies, and partner closely with internal marketing functions and our in-house agency teams.

Your goal is to lead key strategic brand and campaign initiatives and manage their seamless integration across the local marketing organisation, building integrated go-to-market plans that drive brand and business KPIs.

You’ll effectively be the right hand of the Head of Brand & Campaigns and run the day-to-day. This role requires upstream strategic plan development, the ability to work directly with creative agencies, elevate creative output, and integrate plans across multiple functions and teams.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role
  • Lead key strategic brand and campaign workstreams, from annual strategies to campaign frameworks and integrated plans across functions

  • UEFA Partner Marketing: build seasonal marketing plans that maximise our UEFA sponsorship rights to deliver on brand and business KPIs

  • Develop and deliver our media, content and social strategy, including a robust mid-funnel social content plan

  • Lead the creative review process across channels, ensuring best-in-class creative work

  • Manage Senior Marketing Managers and ensure flawless execution across all initiatives

  • Own budget management, tracking, and reporting for your areas of responsibility

What will you bring to the table?
  • Solid brand marketing experience with a proven track record of delivering high-impact campaigns and integrated go-to-market plans, ideally in a high-growth, competitive environment.

  • Agency experience is a plus, but not essential.

  • Significant experience developing and managing marketing strategies and seeing them through into execution.

  • Clear understanding of full-funnel marketing: from top-of-funnel awareness to mid-funnel engagement and conversion tactics, with experience in developing plans that connect the entire customer journey.

  • Strong experience managing & navigating cross-functional teams and collaborating across, including senior stakeholders.

  • Hands-on experience working directly with creative agencies and driving creative work streams to a high standard, as well as the ability to brief and liaise with brand media teams.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. (German language skills are mandatory.)

  • Proven expertise in creating and executing innovative, multi-channel marketing strategies that resonate with audiences and elevate the brand.

  • Solid experience in digital brand channels, including social media.
