As a Marketing Data Analyst (m/f/d) at FORMEL SKIN, you will take ownership of marketing analytics, playing a crucial role in driving our marketing strategies and business growth. Your work will shape data-driven decisions and optimize performance across all marketing channels.

What you’ll be doing
  • Marketing Analytics Ownership: Lead all marketing analytics initiatives, designing and developing comprehensive marketing reporting systems. Ensure timely and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Data-Driven Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team, channel owners, data engineers, and others to analyze campaign performance and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Data Collection and Decision-Making: Define data collection and processing requirements. Promote a culture of data-driven decision-making across the marketing department.
  • Web Analytics Management: Own web tracking and analytics tools (Google Analytics, GTM, Amplitude), ensuring optimal setup and functionality.
  • Deep Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to enhance marketing performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work across departments to ensure that marketing analytics initiatives align with business goals and KPIs.
What you need to shine
  • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as a Marketing Analyst, ideally in a startup environment. You have a proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to shape marketing strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of performance marketing, B2C marketing concepts, customer journey analysis, and the role of various channels in driving growth and engagement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid skills in SQL and cloud analytical databases (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake). Familiarity with Python for advanced data analysis is a plus.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting: Proficiency with tools like Tableau to create compelling reports and translate complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify trends, diagnose issues, and propose solutions that align with business goals.
  • Self-Organization and Project Management Skills: Ability to manage tasks effectively, ensuring they are completed on time and meet business requirements.
  • Collaboration Skills: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and data professionals. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. German is a plus but not required.
